This top from SheIn adds three of some of my favorite trends together: denim, frays, and off the shoulder. It has seriously become my summer go to because if I could be wearing denim from head to toe everyday and I would be a happy camper. I LOVE denim...in case you didn't already know. :) I think blue might be my all time favorite color now too. I have never claimed to have a favorite color because I like too many for different reasons and each color deserves to be loved in it's own way. Ya know? Well except maybe orange...we have never gotten along. Okay, I am done with my color rant. haha. I have just been enjoy wearing blue soooo much now, that it might become my favorite color, which for me is huge to admit. Anyhow, this top is on super sale right now, so don't miss out!

I love a good deal as much as the next girl, but sometimes (with at toddler) it is can be a hassle going shopping period, but especially at thrift stores when I know I am going to have to spend a little extra time digging around to find some treasures. Insert ThredUP, it is like thrifting on the web. Both of these tops are from ThredUP (originally from Target and Urban Outfitters) and were less than $15 and are basically new. This is a game changer for me because they have so many great brands that you can search through very easily to find your size and what you need and at a bargain price. Blue and Boho

I'm not quite sure I have ever loved a top so much in my life. haha. The sleeve details make my heart sing. This top is from Free People, but was thrifted from an IG shop (@devanroses). If you have not hard of shopping on Instagram then you are missing out. It has changed my life forever. It is like thrifting from your phone. I used to have a shop on IG where I would sell some thrifted items and some from my own closet. So if you have any questions about it, please let me know. It is a super easy process.

I have been grabbing a lot more blue hues lately, including denim. I could be dressed in blue from head to toe and be happy every day. haha. Now ask me that in a month or two and I will probably have changed my mind. 

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! We went to see Batman v Superman. I had my doubts because it is a long movie, but I did have an enjoyable time. It left me SUPER pumped for the Wonder Woman movie coming out in...2017. *sigh*

A Holiday Look

I am usually not one to wear super sparkly things just because it is the holidays (sequins can be my enemy some days), so this is about as holiday as I get. The fringes are festive, right?!? I wore (almost) this outfit to my work holiday party this weekend. So. Much. Fun. :) 

Can we just take a second to talk about fringe. I am pretty sure my cat loves fringe just as much as I do because she attacks me anytime she sees that I am wearing some. So I have to hide purses, shoes, etc. from her or else she will destroy them. Right now fringe is on par with cat stuff. Like if you get me something with fringe I will love it no matter what it is, which is the same thing I say about cat things. When asked what I wanted for Christmas I just said basically you can get me anything with cats on it and I will love it. haha. I am not sure how long I will love fringe because it is showing up everywhere, but man do I really love it right now. Who's with me?

Also, I can't believe Christmas is this week...like it is in three days. Holy crap! I do not feel ready. Maybe it is this warm weather that is still throwing me off. Hope you all enjoy your holidays and time with family and friends! *muah*

Black and White

I tend to lean toward more black and white (and greys of course) colors when it comes to clothing because they are so classic. So naturally I chose a wall to match my outfit. haha. A crazy scene to flow with the pattern mixing because it is fun to shake it up a little. :) Both of these murals are on the same wall, and I wish I could have gotten the whole scene in a picture, but I couldn't fit it all because this wall is HUGE. 

I hope you all enjoyed the long weekend (if you were lucky enough to have Monday off)! It was super hot here...and it is still so hot. I am wanting to add more layers to my clothes, but it is hard when it is 90+ degrees outside. Come one fall where are you? Pumpkin spice lattes are here, so you should be too. Speaking of psl, did you get yours yet? I got mine this morning and gulped it down in about 5 minutes. So yummy!

City Walls

 As I was walking around Baltimore one weekend, I went behind an alley and saw some cool graffiti, and in the same alley there was all these different types of street art, so why not capture them all right? I thought they looked pretty cool, so here you go. :) A few pictures from some alley in Baltimore. haha. I adore this slip dress. Slips are perfect for summer (so light and airy) and convert into fall nicely with legging, bootie/boots, and a sweater.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We had lots of fun celebrating our six year anniversary. Makes me feel old when I say that. haha. We did Saturday brunch and got our nails done because we are not traditional like that. Yes, my hubby got a mani/pedi with me. :) That was the highlight of my weekend, and it was perfect. Also, I know the hat is kind of hiding it, but I got my hair fixed up on Friday. Woop woop! I was getting embarrassed of my over grown roots. haha. I have always been a blonde, and I wanted a little change so I am playing with the "lived in look."

I am testing out a new thing. I am trying to savor the simple things in life. Like brunch, coffee with friends, hugs from friends, smiles, holding hands, silent car rides, and loud ones when the kiddo is with us. It is in the simple and mundane things that life abounds. I get caught up in dreaming about these huge things (which is good don't get me wrong. Keep dreaming, dreamers), that I sometimes forget to focus on the great things that I have right in front of me. So that is what I am practicing this week. I don't want to look back five or ten years from now and say where did all the time go. I want to look back and remember all the great things that happened, and relish every bit of it. I want to be present.
