Its has been feeling like summer so much lately, and I looooove it! I was sweating in this picture (if you can't tell), which is why the iced coffee was a necessary cool down. haha. Vintage and graphic tees are trending major right now, and they make for a nice casual outfit. Perfect for a comfy/casual/cute summer outfit. Pair the tee with jeans/short/skirt and you are set.

My family and I just came back from Florida this week. We went to Disney World and has a BLAST! I have never seen my daughter so happy and content. We had so many beautiful moments...aside from the non-stop sweating and sunburns. haha. No matter how prepared for the sun I was, it wasn't enough for that Florida sun and heat. I got over my fear of roller coasters (it is a legit fear you guys) and rode the Tower of Terror. Worst. Decision. EVER. Maybe if you guys are lucky you will get to see the picture from the ride. I look terrified and in pain at the same time. haha. I rode the other coasters and had fun with those at least. :)

More Off The Shoulder Fun

I am currently craving off the shoulder everything. Free People has a 50% off sale going on right now  for some of their summer items (the sale ends today guys!!), which includes this top and these shorts (you can shop them below). When I saw the sale last week, I had to get these cuties and when I tried them on together I realized they made the perfect outfit too. Score! Be prepared to see this top more often. It might become a summer favorite...you will probably even get sick of it eventually. haha. I might have to buy it in every color because it is that comfy and it goes with everything

I was so excited for short weather this weekend...summer can't come soon enough! Hope most of you have been staying dry and are seeing more of the sun than I am. We have had sooooo much rain lately. This week seems promising. Temps in the 80s and sunshine. :) Have a fabulous week! xoxo

Off the Shoulder

Urban Outfitters had 30% off their sale items this weekend, so I had to stop by. haha. I left with this adorable off the shoulder top (and some other items too of course including these awesome sunglasses that I am obsessed with). Off the shoulder everything is trending right now, and I love it! This is the first off the shoulder top I am adding to my closet and I can't wait to buy more. You can literally wear them with everything (skirts, jeans, trousers, shorts). They are so versatile because they can be dressed up or down. I linked a bunch of my favorite off the shoulder tops, including this one, below. Did anyone else go to UO and take advantage of the sale?

So I am standing in front of some random person's house in this picture because I thought this spot was just too cute. haha. Plus it is fun to pretend I could live in a place with such an adorable front gate area. I found this place when exploring with my family. The weather has been soooo nice and I have been trying to make sure we are outside as much as possible (I need to work on my tan so it is a win win. haha.). Feeling Plaid

Bomber jackets are so perfect for spring, and this plaid one might be my new favorite. This one is currently unavailable at PacSun, so I linked up another one that I liked below. I keep adding more and more flares to my closet, and I love these flares because they are oh so flattering. Plus they are currently on sale at Urban Outfitters, so if you have been looking for a pair of black flares these might just be the ones you've been searching for. :) Skinny scarves/bandannas have been on trend for awhile, and this spring is no exception. They are sooo versatile and can add that extra something to any outfit.

Hope you all had a fabulous Easter and got to enjoy a 3 day weekend. We just took it easy and got chocolate wasted. Easter candy is one of my faves, and I have a major sweet tooth. It's a disastrous combo. haha. Have a great week everyone! xo

A Promise

Today is the big day! This kiddo is having her no more chemo celebration at her doctor's office (I know I haven't share any part of that story yet because it all mostly happened before the blog, but maybe one day). We are super pumped! Motherhood has taught me so much, and I am still learning a ton...every darn day. haha. I am doing my best and in doing that I am trying to be more intentional with my time and goals. Social media can be super distracting, so I am making a mother's promise to my daughter as a sort of goal and everyday mindset that I want to strive toward.

I promise to always love you no matter what, and to love you deeply. I promise to be the shoulder you need to cry on, or just to be there when you need me (which will be forever...duh). I promise to put you and your father first because family always comes first no matter what. I promise to encourage you when things get hard, and to communicate to you that I believe in you.

 In order to help me keep this promise visible and as tangible as possible, Sansa (my daughter) and I did a craft together. She painted the letter's L-O-V-E and they have been put in her room above her bed, so every morning when I go to wake her up and when I tuck her in at night, I will be reminded of the promises I have made to her.

Pom Pom

Poms...they are everywhere (key chains, hats, etc.) and I love it. Poms are a super fun accessory, and I finally got my hands on a pom hat. I am pretty sure that I need one in every color even though spring is around the corner. haha. I got this hat from an Etsy shop - PeonyAndThyme. I love dresses with an open back...or basically any item of clothing. Its like a surprise when you turn around. haha. This dress is so simple and great. The back detail gives it just that something extra to make it a little more dressed up. Bringing the level up a notch. I paired the dress with ankle boots because I don't own a pair of heels (eeekkkkk...please no judgement) and because I love booties. They add that little bit of edginess that I swoon for.  And puh-leeeeeaaase don't get me wrong I do like heels too...just not on me. ;) 

It just started snowing today. Yay! I love love love love loooooove snow. It is our first snowfall in Baltimore. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Stay warm friends!
