Fall Outfit

Soooooo, I know it is just September 1st, but fall fashion has been calling my name. So I braved the heat (where are you fall weather?) and sweated it out a bit to get these pics. haha. This oversized tunic from Make Me Chic has been the best addition to my fall wardrobe, and of course the corduroy flares are going to probably be my favorite pant for the fall.  I paired them together because I wanted to make the ultimate hippie/boho combo, and because they are both so comfy too. I love anything oversized for multiple reasons: it is really flattering and whatever it is usually feels just like PJs (winning!). And again, for those of you who have not gotten any flares yet, what are you waiting for? In my opinion, I think they are the most flattering jeans on the planet. If you want to add something new to your closet for the fall, you should get a pair of flares. You won't be sorry. :)

I just want to thank everyone for all your super sweet messages and comments about my daughter. For those who missed my Instagram post, my daughter relapsed a couple of weeks ago and is restarting very intense chemo treatments to kill the leukemia cells. She is doing well with treatments (as well as you can be I guess), and the chemo is working well, so that is all we can really ask for right now. I will definitely keep you guys updated as I know more. Right now we have about two more weeks left in her first "block" and then they will do another bone morrow sample to evaluate how many cancer cells are left. Depending on the percentage they will do a different type of treatment. There has been so much medical verbiage thrown at us in the past two weeks, so sorry if this does't make much sense. I'm trying to share the abbreviated version. haha. We have a long road ahead of us, so we are just taking it one day at a time. Again, I just want to thank you for all your support, sweet words, and encouragements. You all are just the best and I love you so much! Xoxo!

Retro Tee

Its has been feeling like summer so much lately, and I looooove it! I was sweating in this picture (if you can't tell), which is why the iced coffee was a necessary cool down. haha. Vintage and graphic tees are trending major right now, and they make for a nice casual outfit. Perfect for a comfy/casual/cute summer outfit. Pair the tee with jeans/short/skirt and you are set.

My family and I just came back from Florida this week. We went to Disney World and has a BLAST! I have never seen my daughter so happy and content. We had so many beautiful moments...aside from the non-stop sweating and sunburns. haha. No matter how prepared for the sun I was, it wasn't enough for that Florida sun and heat. I got over my fear of roller coasters (it is a legit fear you guys) and rode the Tower of Terror. Worst. Decision. EVER. Maybe if you guys are lucky you will get to see the picture from the ride. I look terrified and in pain at the same time. haha. I rode the other coasters and had fun with those at least. :)

More Off The Shoulder Fun

I am currently craving off the shoulder everything. Free People has a 50% off sale going on right now  for some of their summer items (the sale ends today guys!!), which includes this top and these shorts (you can shop them below). When I saw the sale last week, I had to get these cuties and when I tried them on together I realized they made the perfect outfit too. Score! Be prepared to see this top more often. It might become a summer favorite...you will probably even get sick of it eventually. haha. I might have to buy it in every color because it is that comfy and it goes with everything

I was so excited for short weather this weekend...summer can't come soon enough! Hope most of you have been staying dry and are seeing more of the sun than I am. We have had sooooo much rain lately. This week seems promising. Temps in the 80s and sunshine. :) Have a fabulous week! xoxo

Boho Vibes

Dress: Free People || Shoes/Purse: Forever 21 

I am currently feeling all the boho vibes with this new dress from Free People. It's on sale too! Bell sleeves have been trending and I love them (except when I forget that they exist and I end up getting food on them. haha. Am I the only one that does this?)! I think they are why I love this dress so much. The lace sleeve detail is so dreamy. A few people stopped me and said I looked like I was straight out of the seventies, which made me smile. It is always fun to hear and see random people's reactions of what I am wearing and how they perceive me, and often they say the sweetest things.

Last week I was able to explore Baltimore a bit with Julie who I met on Instagram, and she took these awesome photos. I think meeting people from IG is just the coolest. I love getting to know them and listen to their stories. I had a blast! Exploring Baltimore is one of my favorite pastimes, You can check out her photography here.

Blue and Boho

I'm not quite sure I have ever loved a top so much in my life. haha. The sleeve details make my heart sing. This top is from Free People, but was thrifted from an IG shop (@devanroses). If you have not hard of shopping on Instagram then you are missing out. It has changed my life forever. It is like thrifting from your phone. I used to have a shop on IG where I would sell some thrifted items and some from my own closet. So if you have any questions about it, please let me know. It is a super easy process.

I have been grabbing a lot more blue hues lately, including denim. I could be dressed in blue from head to toe and be happy every day. haha. Now ask me that in a month or two and I will probably have changed my mind. 

Hope you all had a lovely weekend! We went to see Batman v Superman. I had my doubts because it is a long movie, but I did have an enjoyable time. It left me SUPER pumped for the Wonder Woman movie coming out in...2017. *sigh*
