Fave Pink Walls in Baltimore

Hi friends! I often get asked where the pink walls that I take a lot of pictures at are located in Baltimore, so I wanted to share my favorite pink spots around town. :) There are two main pink walls that I go to.

#1 This wall is a pink house in Charles Village. The cross streets are Maryland Avenue and 23rd Street. It is on the alley street called Morton St. It's the perfect shade of light pink, and I just adore it!

Staycation at The Hilton Baltimore

We had the pleasure of staying at The Hilton Baltimore a few weekends ago, and we had THE best time! Sansa has talked about the stay non-stop and keeps asking to go back to "the Hilton hotel with the Orioles." It's sooooo cute. One of my favorite things about the room besides all the cute decor was the view! We had a balcony overlooking Campden Yards and could watch the Orioles games from the outside our suite.

How I Met the Love of My Life

Hi everyone!! It has been fooooorever since I have posted on here, and since today is our wedding anniversary, I figured this would be the perfect time to share these AMAZING pictures from Brooke Michelle Photography we took quite a few months ago (as you can tell by our coats. hehe). She is so talented that it was very hard to just pick a few because all of them were sooo good! Nikki and I have been married 9 YEARS as of today (eeeeek! we are getting old!). It is crazy to think that I met the love of my life when I was 13. We did not start dating until I was 16, but the story is too good not to share. :)

April Favorites

I took these pictures with Gordon (@lordgeezuz) at The Sound Garden, and I thought I would share a few for this post. I'm sporting my Bieber bomber jacket, and Bieber was featured in a new song that just came out. It's on my favorites list for this month of course. Also, I just really wanted to share these because I loved this location and the outfit, so here they are. :)

I have been wanting to do a recap of my favorites every month, so I thought it would be fun to share what I've been really loving during the month of April. These may seem pretty random, but I hope you enjoy them!

5 Ways to Combat Burnout

I don't know about you, but I have been feeling really burned out lately. I took this weekend off and did not make commitments to do A N Y T H I N G. I can't remember the last time I had a free weekend, because I always have a fear of missing out on fun things. I’m also an extrovert (most of the time, anyway) and I just really love hanging out with people and making connections. This weekend was nice though. I didn't have to get dressed up. I could wear PJs all day and just hang with my fam. It was great, but I am still not exactly feeling recharged starting out my week. Even though I didn't really have any places to be, I still had my everyday commitments to my family, which I absolutely love, but can also be just as exhausting in its own right. Raising a toddler is tiring sometimes. ;)

Sunflower Field & A Life Catch Up

I am finally sharing the pictures from the sunflower field adventure. It was so amazing to see in person. It was truly breathtaking to see such a large amount of flowers blooming all in one location. This was my first time visiting a sunflower field, and it won't be the last. My inner flower child was beaming with joy. :)

Boho Vibes

Dress: Free People || Shoes/Purse: Forever 21

I am currently feeling all the boho vibes with this new dress from Free People. It's on sale too! Bell sleeves have been trending and I love them (except when I forget that they exist and I end up getting food on them. haha. Am I the only one that does this?)! I think they are why I love this dress so much. The lace sleeve detail is so dreamy. A few people stopped me and said I looked like I was straight out of the seventies, which made me smile. It is always fun to hear and see random people's reactions of what I am wearing and how they perceive me, and often they say the sweetest things.

Last week I was able to explore Baltimore a bit with Julie who I met on Instagram, and she took these awesome photos. I think meeting people from IG is just the coolest. I love getting to know them and listen to their stories. I had a blast! Exploring Baltimore is one of my favorite pastimes, You can check out her photography here.

Have a lovely rest of your day! I'm off to Denver for work this week. Does anyone have suggestions of places to see/restaurants/things to do? :)

Off the Shoulder

Top: Urban Outfitters || Jeans\Necklace: Forever 21 || Shoes: Thrifted

Urban Outfitters had 30% off their sale items this weekend, so I had to stop by. haha. I left with this adorable off the shoulder top (and some other items too of course including these awesome sunglasses that I am obsessed with). Off the shoulder everything is trending right now, and I love it! This is the first off the shoulder top I am adding to my closet and I can't wait to buy more. You can literally wear them with everything (skirts, jeans, trousers, shorts). They are so versatile because they can be dressed up or down. I linked a bunch of my favorite off the shoulder tops, including this one, below. Did anyone else go to UO and take advantage of the sale?

So I am standing in front of some random person's house in this picture because I thought this spot was just too cute. haha. Plus it is fun to pretend I could live in a place with such an adorable front gate area. I found this place when exploring with my family. The weather has been soooo nice and I have been trying to make sure we are outside as much as possible (I need to work on my tan so it is a win win. haha.). Hope you all are having a fabulous week so far!

Zig-Zag

Jacket: Brightside Boutique || Jeans: Free People || Choker: Charlotte Russe || Boots: JustFab

This is my new favorite spring jacket because spring is right around the corner. Can you believe it?!? Eeeeeeee! We have had some glances of spring already, so I just can't wait for this winter weather to officially be over. This jacket is so comfy and cute, and is the perfect spring transition piece. Plus it is grey...and you all know how much I am adore the color grey. This BB Dakota jacket is currently on sale here over at Brightside Boutique.

In case you have not noticed I kind of love exploring Baltimore to find cool wall/murals/street art. This location has to be one of my favorites so far. I just love the uniqueness of Baltimore. Hope you are enjoying the explorations as much as me. :) Love you all!

Pom Pom

Pom Hat: Etsy (PeonyAndThyme) || Boots: Urban Outfitters || Sweater: Target || Jeans: Thrifted from Goodwill

Poms...they are everywhere (key chains, hats, etc.) and I love it. Poms are a super fun accessory, and I finally got my hands on a pom hat. I am pretty sure that I need one in every color even though spring is around the corner. haha. I got this hat from an Etsy shop - PeonyAndThyme. This shop has all types of awesome winter accessories that I love. PeonyAndThyme is offering a coupon code to all my followers: 10% off with the code "caturdaystyle" through March 6th. So if you are like me and love poms, but haven't bought a pom hat you really really should. :)

Sorry I have been MIA on here. Life has been more busy than usual, and family always comes first.  Hope your week is off to a great start! *muah*

Maxi + Ankle Boots

Sweater: House of Alexzander || Dress: Urban Outfitters || Booties: Just Fab || Hat: Target || Clutch: Forever 21

I love dresses with an open back...or basically any item of clothing. Its like a surprise when you turn around. haha. This dress is so simple and great. The back detail gives it just that something extra to make it a little more dressed up. Bringing the level up a notch. I paired the dress with ankle boots because I don't own a pair of heels (eeekkkkk...please no judgement) and because I love booties. They add that little bit of edginess that I swoon for.  And puh-leeeeeaaase don't get me wrong I do like heels too...just not on me. ;)

It just started snowing today. Yay! I love love love love loooooove snow. It is our first snowfall in Baltimore. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Stay warm friends!
